High Pointe Farm is owned and operated by Bill and Wanda Shurlow, members of the Friesian Horse Association of North America (FHANA). Our Friesians are FPS registered. Our foals are handled daily from birth and professional training, for under saddle, begins between 2-3 years of age. In our breeding program we strive for beauty, movement and gentle temperament. A properly trained Friesian is a sight to behold whether it be dressage, in harness or under saddle. The Friesian horse may be the purest form of warmblood due to strict breeding standards of the Dutch for the last 100 years. The Dutch regard the breed as a national treasure. All of our horses have been handled extensively since birth. We pride ourselves in the knowledge that anyone can safely handle and ride our gentle animals.
